Hello and welcome to our FIRST EVER BLOG!
So the reason why we've decided to make a blog is because we get to see so much of the beautiful Somerset countryside, it seems an absolute waste not to share it with our lovely followers!
We will share with you all of the amazing holiday cottages we get to visit every day, to set up for guests arriving for their holiday. Some of the cottages are available on the web site www.hhholidayssw.co.uk and others we just get to spend time at, preparing for guests.
Today we got the privilege of setting up North Huckham Cottage. The first day of beautiful sunshine this year and the setting looked AMAZING! These were pictures taken today at the property which is based in Dulverton near Wheddon Cross in Somerset.
The cottage has just had a new fridge installed and I LOVE it! It really fits in with the decor and style of the cottage. There are also pictures of the view from the kitchen - my favourite room of the house! It has 3 skylights in the ceiling and a HUGE window that stretches the width of the wall. The view as you can see is absolutly stunning!
I also took a picture of the feedback from the last guests who thoroughly enjoyed their time here. Its always good to see which places they recommend to visit.
So with the welcome pack set up, ready for todays lucky guests, we were finished preparing the cottage. I could have stayed there all day enjoying the warm sun and beautiful Snow Drops but hey, duty calls! Enjoy the pictures and I'll be back soon :-)

Hi guys! Sorry I haven't blogged for a while, it has been manic! But, I have been taking pictures along our travels to share with you lovely people.
These 2 videos were taken at a Holiday Home we take care of. It was such a stunning spring day, I couldn't resist sharing the tranquil sound of nature. This property is near Lynmouth and in the midst of the Exmoor National Park. There is a stream that runs right in front of the property (video 1) and a smaller stream to the side of the house (video 2). I had to record the sound from one of the bedroom windows. Just stunning! I could imagine laying in bed on a hot summers evening, window wide open with a cool breeze and the sound of the bubbling waters to help me drift off to sleep. I'm not too jealous of this weeks guests arriving for their Easter Holidays!! I do hope the weather sticks around for them...
