Me and my partner wanted to escape hectic London life for a New Years break and we couldn't have found anywhere more perfect! The cottage was cosy, quaint and the perfect size for us both. It backs onto the harbour but come out of the front door and you have a few lovely pubs to choose from and plenty of places for cake! Despite being almost next door and opposite the pubs, we had peaceful and undisturbed sleeps. Our first experience and we absolutely loved it!
Our stay at West Quay Cottage was fabulous. We have stayed in this cottage a few times now over the years and would not stay anywhere else. The cottage is clean, comfortable and warm. The locals are lovely and we have made friends here over the years. We had a brilliant time. We'll be back next year. The Clee 3 x
Communication was good, detailed and my stay could not have been smoother. The house was very comfortable and every need is met even down to some welcoming biscuits and drinks.
We had a wonderful weekend at the cottage. It's in a fantastic location, literally steps away from the local pubs and shops. The cottage is quaint and decorated in true seaside style. It was perfectly suitable in size my husband, myself and our pug. The bed in particular is very comfortable and generally the cottage has all the amenities you could need for a weekend away. Very much like a home from home. It's such a shame that our pug Douglas didn't get to meet your pug Bea! I would definitely recommend the cottage if you are looking for a relaxing weekend away. The locals were also all very welcoming which was lovely!
We had a great few days here. We were able to leave our bags earlier than the arrival time which gave us a free day to explore. It's a great base to head off for coastal walks and Exmoor. The cottage was very comfortable and close to some great pubs! Loved it.
Beautiful, very clean little cottage in the heart of Watchet, right next to the sea. A perfect place for a quiet break from it all! Nick was great when we arrived and showed us the directions of the best places to eat & drink. We had such a lovely stay and the only negative is that, due to our own work commitments, we were unable to book a longer trip! We will definitely be booking to stay here again :)
A beautiful cosy cottage in the heart of the village, very clean and equipped with everything you need for a fantastic long weekend by the sea. ...including chocolate cake! Thanks, we loved it :)
